Here is an outline of what I am perceiving about Christchurch and beyond, and what we are perceiving as a group. I hope this  resonates with many people in New Zealand but am concerned that it will be heard by very few.  I hope this article starts discussion between leaders  and  that we might even find time in our busy lives to connect over coffee or lunch in the interests of our Father’s work.

The picture I see is large and complex, yet has some touch points that point to areas of serious lack in our Christian culture across the Christian church of this city and beyond.

Prior to the earthquakes and other disastrous events across New Zealand, I and other prophetic people were warning all who would hear that sorrows were coming if the Family of God did not quickly respond to His calls for intimacy and personal spiritual growth.

Many of us believe that our Father has been patiently and tearfully calling to His Family to get serious about this, even though we might appear to lose our cherished pet traditions and doctrines, because of the deep need to shift from “program driven” to “discipling driven” methods of stimulating personal spiritual growth.

For some time we have been hearing a cry from our Father’s heart “I want My Family back” – out of the control of religious and mammon spirits, believing in what they have been given in Jesus Christ, walking in His righteousness and power having learned to hear and obey.

In our prophetic prayer group times (some call this intercession), we have been given to “see” out over the city and nation many times. At the times of the earthquakes we have seen the armies of angels move against and remove principal religious and mammon spirits that have ruled over the city for many years. Our understanding is that this is like the cases of prince spirits in the book of Daniel, and many of us across the country have been given to see that these evil beings hover in descending ranks in the atmospheric region of the earth, empowered by the permissions and practises of men. (The phrase “Kingdom of heaven” can be translated "royal ruling of the air" which is what WE Christians are supposed to be doing as agents of the Kingdom of God.)

While Christians and others were in discomfort and crying out to God in prayer, these prince spirits were powerless to resume their influence and control. Now that we are in a more comfortable mode of living, we have been seeing them arrive, renew their efforts and begin again to rule over sections of the city.

This makes me very thoughtful, brothers and sisters. I don’t want to see more earthquakes or other forms of sorrows, yet in the last month or two prophetically sensitive folks (including some pastors) are starting to expect another big earthquake, with some saying that it will strike the west of the city.  (Later note - this was correct.)

About a month ago I heard Dad ask me to be ready to back off from commanding quiet release of the tensions in the earth when He says so. This is all in line with what he has shown me over the last 6 years about sorrows coming on this nation and others. So far everything has been according to what I and others have received, BUT NONE OF IT HAS TO HAPPEN.

I haven’t put out another newsletter because what i have to say cannot be related to by spiritual babes and children and that is unfortunately the state of much of the city church according to the snapshot view of spiritual maturity in 1 John 2.  I am personally warning all who will listen respectfully according to this below.

A warning from our Father

On 19 July 2011, I received this prophetic word from Father God to me, and I believe to all of us.

“It is time, and I have run out of patience with man’s (even Christian man’s) interference and blocking of My agendas. Warn them to seek Me to fine tune and retune what they are doing, and be prepared to shift ground as I guide and speak.

There are many that this applies to, so do not just think about leaders in this. I am not pleased with the ways My children choose to interpret what I am saying to them. I call to My children to come close to Me, be quiet and hear what I am saying. It is a time like Jesus coming away from the work in solitude for a night to hear and refresh and get in tune with My agendas going forward.

Anyone who does not, will experience failure of all they are trying to do as I move into a cleansing season in My Family. I will remove mandates from any who do not listen to Me and their works will fail. There is no halfway point in this, for the times coming are more severe than many imagine, and many will fall away if they are not prepared to stand with Me in a personal way and endure as a result.

I will be with all those whose hearts are fully open to Me without reservation and will protect them when the agendas of religious men, no matter how noble they sound, begin to fail. Seek Me, to really know Me, the fountains of Living Waters, and all else will come out of this place of entering in to My love.”
