I received this email today from my Grand-daughter "Poppy", and thought it well worth sending on to everyone. Very thought provoking.
I had a Muslim family as neighbours for most of last year and we became good friends, but when I read this below and think about the meaning of it....WOW!!
 
I wonder why Westerners who are living in Freedom, would want to convert to Islam? Is it because they are spiritually hungry, and we have not shown them the greatest freedom there is? To love and be loved, unconditionally, because of Jesus....who is not just a set of rules written over 2000 yrs ago, but Someone who makes Himself personally known to those who call on His Name.
 
But would we kill for Him, would we die for Him, would we even open our mouths to speak for Him?? And yet Muslims are doing just this for Allah, and a set of rules written a long time ago. You might ask how I know this. Well a few yrs back in Waimate, we had friends From Israel, Ayelet, a Jew, and Ben, a Palestinian, who grew up Muslim. These two questioned us a lot about our Faith and we talked with them about theirs, learning from each other. They even attended our Church, because they chose to, (we met them there) and they were always at the Library learning about Christianity.
 
One day I asked them what God meant to them.... was He someone personal, or a lawmaker way out there, who must be obeyed at all cost. They told me that He was just a big lawmaker, in both their faiths. And I replied that to me He was so very personal, as close as my breath, someone I could be holding a conversation with at the same time as I talked to them. A living entity who had taken up residence deep within my being. (And I believed that anyone else who did not know Jesus in that way could never understand that. That unless they had come to know Him personally, how could they understand what I was even blathering on about.)
 
But Ayelet’s reply surprised me. She said...she could see that. She could feel that I had something she didn't have, and it was almost like although the Jews are God's chosen people, His first family, He has a second Family that He loves more! How sad is that! The Jews and the Muslims who are part of all that Old Testament history.. thinking that He loves US more???
 
Yes many westerners are converting to Islam, to bondage. But how can they know freedom, unless we tell them...unless we show them? If we don’t LIVE for Him, we will surely Die for Him! Or our children, or our children's children. Think about it!
 
This was meant to be just a footnote to the next section, but I got carried away with the subject.  Love you all no matter what your religious beliefs...just not sure yet if I would die for all of you...hehe...some of you maybe...if you're good....but I don’t think I am ready to be a Martyr yet!

Allah or the Lord Jesus Christ?



Is the Muslim religion the fastest growing religion in
 Australia? 



Last month I attended my annual training session that's 
required for maintaining my prison security clearance.
 During the training session there was a presentation by 
three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Anglican and 
Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs. 



I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had
to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of 
Islam, complete with a video.



After the presentations, time was provided for questions and
 answers. 



When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and
 asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand
 that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy 
jihad [Holy War] against the infidels of the world and, that
 by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims)
 they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case,
 can you give me the definition of an infidel?' 



There was no disagreement with my statements and, without
 hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers! 

'

I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All
 followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who
 is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is 
that correct?' 



The expression on his face changed from one of authority and 
command to that of 'a little boy who had just been caught
 with his hand in the cookie jar.'



He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.' 



I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to
 imagine Pope Benedict  commanding all Catholics to kill
 those of your faith or the Archbishop of Canterbury ordering
 all Anglicans to do the same in order to guarantee them a
 place in heaven!' 



The Imam was speechless!



I continued, 'I also have problem with being your 'friend' 
when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers
 to kill me! Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have
 your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go
 to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am
 going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?' 



You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in
 shame. Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of
the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with
 this way of dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing the
 truth about the Muslims' beliefs.  In twenty years there
 will be enough Muslim voters in Australia to elect a
 government of their choice, complete with Shari law. In the 
UK there are now Shari Courts operating with the sanction of 
the High Court and there is already a push for Australia to
 follow suit.


I think everyone in Australia should be required to read
 this, but with the Liberal justice system, liberal media and
 the political correctness madness, there is no way this will
 be widely publicized.
